Albuquerque Real Estate Blog – Stories, Tips & Life in New Mexico

Welcome to my blog! As a native New Mexican who grew up in the southeast part of the state, my early years were shaped by the sight, smell, and sound of pump jacks and cattle grazing under the vast desert skies. I’m also a proud registered Cherokee, tracing my heritage back to John Ross, the esteemed chief of the Cherokee Nation during the Trail of Tears.

Before becoming a Realtor, I had an exciting career in media, advertising, and marketing. I worked with rock stars, movie stars, and creative teams to help clients meet their goals. While I loved that chapter of my life, I’ve found even greater joy in helping people find their place here in New Mexico.

More Than Real Estate

My passion for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I’m a dedicated animal rescuer and a proud mom to a lovable crew: a pit bull, a Chihuahua, a ginger cat, and two mini Nubian goats named Ziggy and Zorro. You’ll probably hear about their antics here from time to time.

In addition to real estate and rescue, I’m also an amateur photographer and artist. This blog is where I’ll be sharing:

  • Stories from my life and heritage

  • Tips on buying and living in Albuquerque

  • Animal rescue advice

  • Local lifestyle recommendations

  • Art and photography from behind the lens

Why I Love New Mexico

I truly love my city and state. New Mexico is a place of rich culture, community, and landscapes that live up to our nickname: the Land of Enchantment. From cottonwoods along the Rio Grande to sunsets over the Sandias, I feel deeply connected to this land and all it has to offer.
